Cuando la ECU activa este solenoide y detecta una se\u00f1al el\u00e9ctrica m\u00e1s baja de lo normal, se genera el c\u00f3digo P0076. Luego se inspecciona el arn\u00e9s y el conector del solenoide. Se utiliza un mult\u00edmetro para medir la resistencia del componente, que debe estar dentro de los valores especificados por el fabricante. Tambi\u00e9n se mide la tensi\u00f3n presente en el conector cuando el sistema est\u00e1 activo.
